The Lodge was consecrated on Saturday, September 4, 1993, by R.W.Bro.Canon H.R.Barker, M.A., Provincial Grand Master of Cambridgeshire, principally for the furtherance of fraternal relations between Old Boys, husbands of Old Girls, Masters, male members of the non-teaching staff, former and current parents, members of the Governing Body and others with an interest in The King’s School, Ely.
