What is a Festival Period ?
It is a period of 5 years during which members of a Province, together with their families and friends have fun and fellowship raising funds for one of the four major Masonic Charities. At The end of this period the sum raised will be announced at the Festival Dinner.
Our last Festival period ended in 2002 when within the Province, we raised just over £600,000 for the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys and with support from our neighbouring Provinces and others the grand total reached £977,000.
What is our Current Festival ?
Festival 2012 in support of the Freemasons Grand Charity commenced on 1st January 2007..
Is there a Festival Target?
The Provincial Grand Master has set the target of £700,000 to be attained during the 5 year Festival Period.
The Target is based on an inflationary increase above the magnificent effort of our last Festival 2002
