Message from the Provincial Grand Charity Steward
" I am pleased to report that we have now reached £200,000 towards our target and this will be used to satisfy the needs of many Freemasons and their dependants in the future. Grahame Elliott, President of the Freemasons' Grand Charity, said in his forward to the Annual review in 2007:
"Last year 1,652 people (individual Masons and their dependants) benefited from Masonic Relief Grants totalling £2.7 million. This is the Charity's first priority and whilst it is a level of support which we should be proud of, the Charity's aspiration remains never to miss a single case of genuine need."
If we don't do our job, they can't do theirs. I look forward to your continued support in reaching our target for the Festival 2012 being assured that your generosity will be thankfully received and faithfully applied."
